Plenty of Pictures

The Family and I: Jonelle and Melody, my daughters, and John, my
husband. This was a photo taken of us at Jonelle's wedding.

Jonelle and I in Edinburgh, Scotland, July of 2007, when I still had some color left in my hair. This was inside the Edinburgh Castle walls.

This was taken of me in a National Park "loo" by my youngest Demon Spawn!  One of my favorite pics!

As an Arizonan, I must take the opportunity to
share a little beauty of this magnificent state with everyone.
This is the Grand Canyon during the summer months.

These are the Red Rocks of Sedona; this photo was also taken during the summer months.

For those who don't believe it, here is the proof. This is a picture taken just outside our house in Arizona. This is our gazebo covered with several inches of powdery, fresh snow. These are our winter months.  This is my favorite place to write, read and count my blessings . . . when the weather isn't below freezing, of course!

And now, time for the animal pictures (of which there will be several). This is Foxy, a Pomeranian. She belongs to my youngest daughter, Melody. Foxy is quite the spoiled Princess, but we love it.

This is one of two male Poms we have, Inu Yasha (Japanese for Dog Demon). He belongs to my oldest daughter, Jonelle. He's a bit of a grump with other dogs, but enjoys being cuddled all day long.

This is the latest addition to the family, the Great Kiba Monster (Kiba is Japanese for Fang). This mutt dog belongs to my oldest daughter, Jonelle. We're not sure what he is a mix of, but we're guessing St. Bernard and Horse. The dog is HUGE! He's still just a pup, but he keeps growing bigger and bigger.

This is our Golden Retriever Chance . . . our biggest Pomeranian, or so he thinks. Hence what's theirs is his, including their bed.

I refer to this as a Pom pile-up.

This is Cookie and her sonic tail!  She's one of two 'Mexico' dogs we rescued this year when we wintered in Rocky Point.  We feed approx. 35 to 40 street dogs a day the months we're there and took this little girl home to fix her up.  She's definitely something amazing!

This beautiful pup is Coco, another we took in to find a home.  From living on the streets in Rocky Point she's now spayed, had all of her shots and we placed her with a loving family in Canada!

Now, for some of my work. This is a fireplace mantel that I carved myself for our home a few years back. It is roughly 7 feet in length, 1 foot deep and 2 feet in width. It took me several months to finish, using a Dremmel saw and Roto-Zip saw. This was my first attempt at woodworking. I also hand-carved 700 custom pickets for our fence, as picket fences don't come 6 feet high to keep out elk.

A painting I did of, you guessed it: The Grand Canyon.

My painting of a friend's boat.

A pastel pencil drawing of a local resident.

This is a mural I painted that covers an entire bedroom wall.

The other half of the wall.

One of my fower arrngements.

And finally, some local resident moochers.
